CUSTOMERS UPDATE
For Christmas delivery, please choose express production at checkout. Express production takes 1 to 3 weeks and adds 20 per cent to the product price. Standard production takes 4 to 6 weeks and may not arrive before Christmas. If you need to upgrade an existing order, please contact us.
FAQs
Do you ship worldwide, and what are the costs?
Yes, House of Harlot delivers worldwide. In the UK and internationally (outside the UK), we deliver by express tracked couriers like DHL or FedEx. This is usually the best option as it is a reliable global courier and is recommended for high-value orders.
Shipping costs depend on the customer's location we are shipping out to and the premium couriers chosen. If you prefer to use a specific or alternative courier, contact us before you place your order.
Shipments are fully traceable, and you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details once your order is complete. If you have further questions, please contact us. To read the rest of our shipping policies, click here.
Do you charge VAT or sales taxes?
Prices on our website include UK VAT for customers in the United Kingdom. If you are ordering from outside the UK, the VAT portion is removed automatically at checkout once you enter your delivery address. The price you see at checkout is the final price before any local duties charged by your country.
Do you offer free shipping?
No, however, we do offer a free 'Click & Collect' option for your orders if you choose to directly pick up from our London studio. If this option is selected, you will not be charged any shipping costs.
When your garment is ready for collection after the chosen production time, you will receive an email with an appointment time for when to collect your item from us. Please note that failure to collect your order after 6 months will result in the disposal of the items by whatever means, without refund or credit. What is the difference between standard production and express production?
With standard production, your garments will be created in our London studio and sent to you within a 4-6 week time frame with a trackable courier. With express production, your garments will have priority to be created and shipped to you within a 3-10 day time frame with an express trackable courier for an extra 20% charge on top of your total.
Each product page includes an option to upgrade that individual garment to express production.
The extra cost is calculated per product and is added to your total once you tick the box. You must select express production for each product you want delivered faster. Any items not upgraded will be made and sent separately on the standard 4 to 6 week timeline. If express production is required on a product for a specific date, please state the date it is needed for when making your order.
If you have already made your purchase and wish to upgrade your whole order to express production, please contact us.
I have a very urgent order that needs to be made ASAP. Can this be done with VIP Production?
Generally, our latex is made to wear and provide express or standard production from 1-3 weeks to 8 weeks, respectively. For urgent requests that need to be fulfilled within 1-2 working days, there will be a 40% extra charge for VIP production. If you need this for your order, you must please contact us first so we can confirm the availability to fulfil your order. VIP Production orders are non-refundable.
What is my size?
There is a Size Chart available at each product page with measurements for both men and women to help guide you towards buying the correct size. Please have your body measurements on hand when choosing your size for the perfect fit. If you need any assistance with sizing, please contact us.
Do you offer custom-tailor-fit garments specific to my body?
Yes, of course! Our House of Harlot team prides itself on making our garments fit each customer's unique body for the perfect bespoke fit. On each product page, under the Size dropdown bar, please choose "Custom Size" and specify your measurements or any changes you would like made in the Custom Requests box.
Please note that Custom Size requests are an extra 20% charge and will be calculated towards your final total on the checkout page. If you have any questions regarding our custom sizing, please refer to our Custom Orders page and contact us, and we will assist you at no extra cost.
Can I change the colours of a product?
Yes, of course! On each product page, we offer a selection of 9 standard latex colours to choose from at no extra cost. The available colours are Black, Red, Plum, White, Light Brown, Transparent Peach, Transparent Blood, Transparent Natural and Transparent Smoke Black.
Similar to how we offer Custom Sizes, we also offer Custom Colours for every product! We offer over 50+ premium latex colours to choose from our ranges of Standard, Pearlsheen, Vibrant and Semi-Transparent swatches. Please note that Custom Size requests are an extra 20% charge and will be calculated towards your final total on the checkout page. Can I use a discount code on Custom orders?
Discount codes are only accepted on standard orders without any customisations. If you have chosen to have products with Custom Sizes, Custom Colours, Express Production or an option with an additional add-on price, these orders are not accepted by us with discounts. If you wish to make an order with a discount code, make an order with your standard production products first and then make a separate order for any remaining custom or express products. Can I return my latex garment?
Standard production orders which are simply not required any more, change of heart, or similar reasons will be refunded, subject to a 30% handling and restocking charge. We ask that you confirm your correct size and colours before ordering, as all garments are bespoke and made to each client's unique requests. If you have ordered the wrong size, please return the item for exchange in the correct size. You will have to pay for the re-postage costs to send to our studio and back to your destination.
Returns will only be accepted if still in new condition with no signs of wear and in original packaging within seven days of delivery. Express Production and VIP Production orders are non-refundable. You must contact us in writing first, within seven days of delivery, to let us know about the reason for your return and ensure that you send it by a fully traceable delivery service. House of Harlot cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.
If you are returning items from outside of the UK, clearly state on all documentation and customs declarations that all items contained in the package are returns to the manufacturer for alterations. House of Harlot will not pay any duties or taxes on returned goods, and this may result in the loss of your return and refund to you. How do I care for my latex?
Latex is very easy to care for! We have a special page, Care of Latex, filled with our tips from over 30 years of experience on how to wash, shine and protect your garment for longevity. Please refer to our tips here, and if you have any more questions, please contact us.
Having difficulty wearing latex?
If you are having difficulties, please use a silicone-based lubricant to apply to the insides of the garment to slip in more easily. Talcum powder is also an option, though we prefer using the lubricant since it is less messy. Pull on the latex gently, be mindful of using your fingernails as this may cause rips!
