Our Story

House of Harlot was founded in 1991 by Robin and Michelle Archer. For over two decades, Robin Archer designed and produced fetish fashion in rubber, leather, and other materials.

By 1997, House of Harlot had become a full-scale wholesale latex garment manufacturer, supplying stores from Los Angeles to New York, London to Düsseldorf, and Tokyo to Sydney, while also continuing to create its renowned bespoke pieces. Over the years, its output expanded to meet a growing and increasingly diverse clientele.

The label became a leading name within the global fetish scene, known for its exceptional craftsmanship in latex design. It also collaborated with high-fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta, and Christian Dior on special commissions for catwalk shows in Paris, London, and New York. House of Harlot’s designs were worn by prominent figures in music, fashion, and film, with costumes featured in productions including The Zero Theorem by Terry Gilliam, Jupiter Ascending by the Wachowskis, and My Mistress by Stephen Lance, starring Emmanuelle Béart.

In 2016, Robin Archer resigned as Director of the company, and Iris Trika is now in command of House of Harlot.
