Report: New Designer Natasha Somerville Graduate Collection Featured in Vogue

We love new talent here at House of Harlot and so we were thrilled when one of our former interns, Natasha Somerville, was one of the graduate designers featured in Vogue when they did a feature on the Central St Martins BA show.

You can see from these close-up shots that Natasha is working in latex and using it in extremely complex and detailed ways, creating these Op Art patterns.

Natasha has created some striking pieces for her show and it’s lovely to see how she has utilised some of the specialist skills and techniques required when working with latex that she learned when working with our team.

Roll Up! Roll Up! It’s the Big Top Circus at Club RUB this weekend!

It’s the Big Top Circus party at Club RUB this Saturday June 22nd.

Club RUB is back at their famous venue Dukes in Houndsditch, London EC3A 7DB which has been the scene of many a fabulous party over the years.

Oscar de la Renta Latex featured in French Vogue – April 2013

Back in September 2012 House of Harlot worked with stylist Alex White again, and this time she put together our expertise in latex with Oscar de la Renta’s designs and together we worked with their design team to produce the samples in time for the Spring/Summer 2013 Collection. Now those designs are for sale in Oscar de la Renta and French Vogue featured this gorgeous skirt & top fresh from our studio in London.

We love having the opportunity to work with such amazing designers and fashion houses!

Latex Report: Meadham Kirchhoff Autumn Winter 2013/14 Collection at London Fashion Week

Last week the Harlots went to London Fashion Week and we shared some of the photos taken by Robin of the Meadham Kirchhoff Autumn/Winter 2013/14 Collection. There was lots of Latex and we thought you would like to see some catwalk shots showing more detail so here is a selection from the super stylish folks at Elle UK.

On this latex jacket you can see the fabulous effect of having lots of mini ruffles created from laser cut latex ‘lace’. Stunning.

Robin and the team at House of Harlot were thrilled to produce the latex pieces created and designed by Meadham Kirchhoff and featuring their laser cut latex mini ruffles that were such a unique feature of the show.

Meadham Kirchhoff Autumn Winter 2013/14 Show at London Fashion Week

This week saw the Autumn Winter 2013/14 Collections at London Fashion Week.

House of Harlot were at the fabulous Meadham Kirchhoff show and here are a few photos taken by Robin Archer of some of the latex pieces.

Why were we there? Well, Robin and the team at House of Harlot were thrilled to produce the latex pieces created and designed by Meadham Kirchhoff and featuring their laser cut latex mini ruffles that were such a unique feature of the show.

Congratulations from House of Harlot to Cara Delevingne for being named Model of the Year at this years British Fashion Awards

Cara Delevingne is having a fantastic year and has just been named Model of the Year at our very own ‘Fashion Oscars’ at the British Fashion Awards. Huge congratulations to Cara from everyone at House of Harlot!

We’re especially thrilled at Cara’s success as we have just had the Victoria’s Secret Annual Fashion Show in NYC and she wore this sexy candy stripe latex outfit which Victoria’s Secret’s designer Todd Thomas commissioned from House of Harlot. Of course Cara looked fabulous in this cheeky number.
